[his]vision [] is a radical reinterpretation of executive power. [] the notion of independent agencies within the executive branch is anathema to the Constitution. [], if implemented, would bring traditionally independent entities like the Justice Department more directly under presidential control.

🔥 Rep Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) told Vought: “You want a government so broken, so dysfunctional, so starved of resources, so full of incompetent political lackeys and bereft of experts and professionals that its departments and agencies cannot feasibly achieve the goals..." @hcrichardson.bsky.social

Sleep well, Russ. Not that it was a surprise to anyone, but your family's name is Mudd. Arnold. McVeigh. You have children? Now their daddy's intentions are forever shared and they'll live their lives trying to escape the dirty rug under which you threw them. Well done. The pathetic cause will lose.

Well done, @delauro.house.gov Would like to have seen Vought’s face during this
There are #Project2025 trackers, btw. Here's one I just heard about today. www.project2025.observer
Thank you, @delauro.house.gov for so clearly laying out Vought's immediate aims and longterm goals, so anyone can understand, tho' Russell Vought will likely deny all of his disgraceful, undemocratic goals.
When a political party touts for decades that government doesn't work & sets out over those decades to prove govt doesn't work by undermining good governance at every opportunity, we wind up with our current kakistocracy. Endless tax breaks for the insanely wealthy, erosion of services for citizens.
