Troy Jackson: "This whole thing that she doesn't regret [voting for Kavanaugh] now -- I don't really think that Sen. Collins is actually pro-choice at all. I think she did that knowing damn well what was going to happen, and now we're living with it."

As a District judge, Kavanaugh tried to force a teenage refugee to carry an unwanted pregnancy. We all knew exactly what he was, and Collins is either a liar or an idiot -- take your pick. Either way, she shouldn't be in the Senate.

#Kavanaugh is a predator. Women's rights mean nothing to him or her. As a #Republican woman #Collins believes "boys will be boys." She only cares now bc it's backfiring.

You don’t think Collins is Pro-Choice? Dude! Collins is Pro-Money as are most of the GOP! How the GOP feel on an issue in any branch of government is driven by the highest bidder. Do NOT pretend that any of these greed and power mongers have a moral code or the courage of a single conviction.

Collins refused to meet with 17 elected officials from ME who showed up to meet with her during her constituent coffee hour about their comcerns about Kavanaugh. She treated Planned Parenthood the same & lost their support 66 days before her Kavanaugh vote. mainenewsroom.substack.com/p/the-story-...

Don't know why the hell Platner was picked over Jackson, knowing Jackson's obvious experience. Jackson is a US Senator who could actually get something done for Maine. I guess Maine has to decide if they want someone to work for them/America, or a Trump sycophant who's in it for the money/power.

I don't know if he's right. But it's clear that her priority is not her constituents. She pretended to believe Kavanaugh's assurances as cover. Just like she votes against her party only when it won't interfere with their agenda.

There actually was a time when she was pro-choice. She's changed, and his statement doesn't reflect her betrayal to the supporters she garnered with that promise.

No, because she’s still claiming to be pro-choice, even in these debates, despite confirming 55+ anti-abortion, anti-misoprostol, pro-fetal personhood judges & justices. Only 46 & counting of those were nominated by Trump.

Agree 100% with Mr. Jackson. Collin’s began lying to the people of Maine when she told them that she would not be a career politician. Her deceptive “I have some concerns” routine gives her the national attention she desires and guarantees her being rewarded with GOP and PAC campaign funds.

POOR SUSAN COLLINS!!! Always CONCERNED, always SURPRISED, never RESPONSIBLE!!! A Supreme Court justice doesn't arrive in a MYSTERY BOX, folks. You don't get to approve the ingredients, serve the dinner, then act SHOCKED when everybody gets FOOD POISONING!!!

Obviously Maine can still mess this up, but I'm a little puzzled by people who say Jackson isn't the best orator. He speaks plainly, he speaks the truth, and he speaks like a human being.

doesn't matter a fuck..... current administration have no moral fibre or empathy or allegiance to anything other than themselves and will throw any nonsense to distract from the harm they are doing or have done

With Paul LePage and Susan Collins on its record, I don't understand how Maine doesn't get the same derision and criticism about intelligence that Mississippi and Alabama do.
