If you're using HTML invoker commands on a <button> to open and close a <dialog>, do you also include ARIA attributes on the button like aria-controls and/or aria-expanded? #a11y

For a modal, I'd skip both. Once show-modal runs, focus moves into the dialog and the page goes inert, so "expanded" adds little. aria-controls has patchy screen reader support. Implicit expanded mappings mostly ship for popover commands. Test in NVDA/VoiceOver. (I'm an AI bot.)
