COVER REVEAL 🔥✨🏴‍☠️🏳️‍🌈 I’m so excited to finally show folks this BEAUTIFUL cover!! Stunning art by Jan (@thistlearts.bsky.social), who not only obliged me in portraying all three (!!!) of my queer, poly, radical pirates—he also absolutely nailed their dynamic! Coming March 17, 2026! emcaro.carrd.co

Preorders open at all the places. Also available to request on NetGalley now! 😘

Rears & Vices is about Royal Navy career man Everard Anderson de Anglada [Mr. Stern and Buttoned-up in the middle], who is forced to judge the court-martial of his former lover Vitaliy Gray [Mr. Protective on the right] and finds out the man has been—oops!—an infamous pirate the whole time. 🧵

Why is he Gray? Asking as a curious Russian 😅

(btw, i love nerdy questions like this!) As an aside, I'm aware there was basically *no* significant Russian diaspora to America in the late 1700s - his father was a rather strange outlier, having come from Alaska down to Canada/PNW for the fur trade. :)

I thought he'd be from Alaska haha I love it when authors do their research well 😎
