repair rejected under "liquid damage" kms (californians made a waterproof phone that cannot withstand being used under hamburg rain) out of 550eur. hate it.

no, I'll go find out. It was raining yesterday, and I had it on a scooter when I went to/from an appointment for 15 minutes of scooter time total, phone itself was in good condition, I'd expect waterproofing to be still there. [...]

[...] it said the charging port was wet, which only cleared 5 hours later, and 15 minutes after that it died. I didn't plug it in at all during this period. so I'm pretty disappointed. amazon seems open to refunding me despite this being 5 months old though, fingers crossed.
