The liberals and conservatives need to be put on watch. NDP needs to make a comeback.

Avi is the P.M. Canada needs not the current devious little lickspittel. Carney's idea that Canada can export its way to sovereignty doesn't work. It hasn't worked since 1867. A branch plant economy owned by the Americans is not the foundation for sovereignty and a good life for all Canadians.

We need to directly align the governments incentives to these good Canadian values. One way, have job layoffs increase corporate taxes to remove the profit incentive of layoffs. Or make employers financially responsible for laid off employees until they find new work. Like alimony for workers.

Aw c'mon Avi. It's "well-paying jobs".

And let's remember the corporate welfare they receive from our tax dollars.

We need to go all in with renewable manufacturing and building electric cars. Nuclear has a place here too. But continuing to invest in fossil fuel infrastructure is just insanity

I 100% agree, we hear a lot from Carney related to speeding up the process for these big corporations. Not a word though about the wages Canadians will receive working on these projects. Seems to me, much of what is happening will benefit the companies bottom line.
