We have seen photos Waddell's previous Halloween BART fare gate costume floating around on social media since he debuted it in 2024. Then we ran into him at BART Prom earlier this year and heard he was toying with the idea of turning our new fare gates into a costume this Halloween!

We couldn't wait to see what Waddell cooked up, and he delivered. Watch the video now and tag us in your own posts featuring BART-themed costumes. Don't worry if they don't have the same bells and whistles -- it's about sharing your love of transit and introducing a bit of whimsy into Spooky Season.

cute! can he design a fare gate that shows you your card balance instead of "see agent" after you've already run out? he could be up for a nobel prize!
