Happy new year, we’re at war with Venezuela for no reason.

Yes, I know it’s to take oil. By “for no reason” I mean there’s no legal or moral justification. Oil isn’t a reason to go to war in any sane society.

Look, I’m not trying to start two dozen fights here, I just don’t think treating “he wants to steal their resources and/or distract from his well-documented pedophilia” as a valid casus belli is the rhetorical masterstroke you all seem to think it is.

I just got a DM saying it’s my fault for voting for Reagan. Aside from the obvious reasons that’s insulting, I know I spent New Year’s Eve seeing a Grateful Dead cover band but come on. How old do you people think I am?!
