IDK how other people use Bluesky but usually I just scroll through my mutuals and check a list of favorite artists.

Every morning I hit the Following tab and scroll back to whenever I fell asleep at, then climb back up to what the other time was, THEN refresh that and do it again. (to where the other one ended) The first one takes a chunk of time but the next one or two are shorter and then I am up to date!
