Is it to avoid the human suffering of victims of an economic crash, and for people to realize to take precautions? That would seem sensible to me, in that case some of the language is a bit extreme imo. Feels necessary to try and scare folks into thinking that way?

nah. The point I'm making is many of those who boosted previous cycles got away with people forgetting that they were boosters and that should not happen this time around. More like a need for ownership of their actions
