Europe needs to catch up, since US has shown to be a capricious ally. Ukraine needs arms now, even in unlikely case of a truce. And all European countries need to arm in order to be able to effectively repel future muskovite aggressive moves.

Too bad Europe can't buy anything in the future now that the US has proven that it will betray all its alllies in a war situation. And this is at the start of the great rearming of Europe. Good for Trump he has a cult, any sane people would have impeached him for that.

USA defense industry is compromised. Russia will get the tech and hardware coding and tactical info and sell it off to China, Iran and any other bidders.

Europe is entering the market as a major player. Move over Trumpian America. By withdrawing from the world you also withdraw from world markets.

I think this will change - with the US no longer seen as a reliable ally and concerns over the level of support required to use its weapon systems that could be withheld in a future conflict then buyers would be wise to reduce all US dependence

The Ukraine war has a huge boost to the US economy through arms exports. Washington managed to persuade all those idiot European countries to give Ukraine their crap and to buy new, shiny and very expensive replacements from Uncle Sam. The only losers were European taxpayers and Ukraine.

These hope it stays that way, with EU and UK sellings doing better as well.

And started nearly every war since WW2. Democrats or Trump the US is a voracious imperialist.
