It has already become a regular feature of Burnham's tenure. No.10 and government ministers insisting that Burnham didn't say what everyone heard him say. "Clarification" it's called.

According to international law people living under occupation have the right to resist their occupiers (& that includes armed resistance). If Britain was under brutal occupation would we be condemning attacks on occupying soldiers or supporting those fighting back?

How those cost of living crisis protests are going. 🇫🇷: Storm the Bastille, down with Macron! 🇮🇹: Hang Mussolini! Down with Meloni! 🇬🇧: Small boats! Ban the RNLI. Pitiful isn't it?

I know loads of people still don’t want to admit this, but sanctioning settlers alone doesn’t do much. These terrorists are literally backed by the entirety of the state of Israel. The IDF was there throughout this pogrom and stood by. They always do this.

The Washington Post@washingtonpost.com

Masked Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian villagers on Friday, setting olive groves on fire and slinging rocks. Caught in the attack was Post photographer Heidi Levine. “They just kept kicking me and kicking me, like probably 50 times,” Levine said. https://wapo.st/4yt6dHY

The Telegraph must be so proud of helping me pretend that the main takaway from the exposure of racist Reform councillors is that investigative journalists should be prosecuted.

No one is above the law in the UK except those who are.

Water companies in England failed to report more than 50,000 sewage dumpings within the time required. Water companies routinely ignore laws, have 1,200+ criminal convictions, no exec prosecuted, no licence cancelled. Customers fleeced, human health damaged, environment harmed. Govts do nothing.

There's a graph.. no one really understands the graph but there's a graph, and someone as added a logo to make sure the graph has weight. I don't think any of us can now deny that with a graph and the honest words of this honourable PM, Russia won the match for Argentina. (note the sarcasm).

Exactly. This smokescreen is ridiculous. 80% of the UK national media supported Brexit and used every lie, deceit and disinformation they would manufacture to promote it. But we're meant to believe that some Russian bots won the vote.

I've been going through Blue Sky today and noticed a large increase in the amount of posts proclaiming events that simple didn't happen. It has been an increasing trend. This is just one example. It seems post-Truth isn't limited to Trump but is now universally adopted.

In an excited column on the "Burnham bounce", Jonathan Freedland, the notorious anti-Palestinian racist and genocide apologist, calls Zack Polanski a "charlatan and a coward". Another timely reminder that the Guardian's main role is to keep the left tethered to neoliberalism.

Part of the British Establishment propaganda campaign over Palestine is to pretend the 2 state solution has a pulse, that way the reality facing Palestinians can be avoided even as Israel openly declares there will never be a Palestinian state. The Guardian of course as ever is onboard the lie.

I can't disagree with this at all. I would add the issue of Garvaghy Rd which has quite a few of the British political class questioning their own membership to an outdated predominantly male organisation which dabbles in sectarianism & links to paramilitary groups of a violent nature.

A corrupt US politician, hold the front page. I would be more shocked if it was revealed a Republican wasn't corrupt, and that goes for most Dems too. The whole US political system is rotten with corruption, it is why Israel can buy it wholesale.

The data center industry has poured hundreds of thousands of dollars into Ken Paxton's campaign. He's corrupt and can't be trusted to put Texans first. #TXSen

While Labour is busy throwing up a wish list smokescreen of aspirations (not even pledges) that are not on any kind of definite timescale (and definitely not in this parliament), they're getting on with the same day job. Nothing has actually changed. It's the Starmer era with a PR makeover.

So far the Iranian plot that Burnham and Trump have confirmed consists of 5 guys in 3 vans carrying an oil transportation company logo which contained 1 barrel of diesel and several empty barrels. Unusually all suspects have been granted bail. Why is the media not asking questions?

I voted Remain in 2016 but I would vote against rejoining the EU now. The reason being that the EU in 2026 is not the EU of 2016. The EU now cares nothing for the social or economic well being of Europe and its citizens, it is wholly dedicated to its ideological war of civilisations.

Just so we're clear, the warmongering hysteria coming from western governments is *checks note* .. *checks note again* .. *takes note to light to make sure*..um.. a Russian plot. Obviously even the batshitters are finding the current batshit too batshitty so it of course has to be Russia behind it.

Seems the entire UK media engaged in hysterically pushing the state's Russia-Evil narrative isn't enough for the British neoliberal political class. They're now wanting their own disinformation centre, as if the BBC wasn't enough. Comes hot on the heels of calls to jail dissenters.
