That’s pretty cool. Ran into the limitation yesterday w Claude Code. How is Warp in general? Haven’t been paying too much attention.

Well bias alert: I work there :) But I was using it for a while before joining. Warp is Claude Code if there was a GUI attached. Click to move your cursor, collapsible menus for code, and handy utils like code diffs and a file tree. Plus, you can use whatever model (like Gemini 3, which rocks)

Ah, you can bring your own LLM? I enjoyed a month subscription to Warp but found it a bit too limiting on the number of prompts I got for my money. Bringing my own API key would be great (though I do wonder a bit about the business model - really competitive and subsidized space!)

Hmm, it appears you have to pay $20/mo just to bring your own API keys. I get it - monetization is hard, but I don't think that's a winning strategy.

Totally get the critique. I'll at least say this: the 20/mo gives you automatic failover in case Anthropic / OpenAI / Gemini servers are overloaded, or in case a model continuously sends malformed data or tool calls. This comes in handy a surprising amount of the time
