Miss Muench, 6th grade. Cared about her students as people more than any other teacher I ever encountered. She stayed friends with my mom over the years and, on a whim, I sent her an invitation to my wedding. Was pleasantly shocked when she traveled from Michigan to California to attend.

Played guitar & taught us to sing age-inappropriate folk songs. Could see I was struggling & was unfailingly kind ❤️
