i heard through the vines that one team came a week early to get past jet lag, while the other arrived only 3 days before the match; the one that came a week before won also i was very confused when i heard this story because i thought "football? don't they already play that in australia?"

also apparently the match started at like 9 in the morning to prioritize american viewers rather than australian, which sort of defeats the point
