i feel like it's ironic how people complain that bluesky is built upon vibe coding yet still use the platform anyways im fully against vibe coding ofc, but you do understand that you could switch PDSs, switch to fediverse, or just contribute to the bluesky git repos via your own ai-free work

while i appreciate people reverse engineering proprietary software like the adobe suite, using said vibe coded software is worse, both morally as you support vibe coding by using it and practically as its unusable due to the sheer amount of lag and bugs it has

a thought: with the internet at my fingertips, i am given complete, free access (with adblockers, bypasses, etc.) to humanity's complete collection of gathered research, art, readings, films, music for my full desire and yet i procrastinate about watching the greatest content ever made, b/c lazy

recently discovered that there are indeed some US gov accounts on bluesky that are still operating after a year. many of the accounts that originally "raided" bluesky were just setup as propaganda and eventually died our after a month or so after essentially being mass blocked. 🧵

@dol.gov (cont.) - despite being active, they also maybe have a trump slogan in their bio. they're also followed by the CPSC @tsa.gov - apparently acts similarly to their other presence on social media, such as posting contraband occasionally anyways that's my rant before going to bed. have fun

a pattern i noticed with still active accounts on bluesky is that the majority of them are liberal in nature, such as the @cpsc.gov, @nws.noaa.gov and their other accounts, et al. and i was surprised to see the CPSC to be extremely well followed and well liked. 2/
