All three languages come with formatting and linting. Markdown supports frontmatter, GFM, CJK writing and embedding capabilities.

It took us a while, but we did it! JavaScript plugins are in developer preview. Start experimenting! We also added support for loading plugins via npm packages.

This is amazing team, congratulations! IMO, a linter HAS to be extendable (and ideally in the lang known to the user) so this is an incredibly important step. Would love to read how you got this to work! I'm also going to read on the salsa stuff, maybe there's something I can learn and take.

Biome support for Tailwind is now 4-aware. Sorting of Tailwind classes is stable. New lint rules now understand your system design and suggest classes that fit your project.

With the new "inspect" command, you control your project. Use "inspect config" to visualise the final config (extends + overrides), use "inspect plugins" to see all the enabled rules, and use "inspect file" if you're writing a plugin.
