I can't see any actual meaningful improvements to the engine, so it seems like it's an outright downgrade compared to UE5, just because of the ai features.

I’m still waiting for a convincing argument that UE5 itself is a decent upgrade over UE4 with current hardware, so UE6 is already a non-starter for me.

True enough. Even if UE5 is capable of a bunch of stuff that 4 isn’t… Doesn’t mean it isn’t responsible for this wave of awfully optimized games. A net negative overall.

The fact that they’re depreciating Blueprints in it is already giving me reason to stay away, given that I tried C++ before in UE4 and hated it. I can see other indies doing the same.
