almost 20 years of vocaloid culture has conditioned me to be really weirded out by vocaloid and synthv releasing banks with faceless characters. I would love to see sales stats because I'm dying to know who's going for this over Miku or Teto.

Just really don't see why you can't create a character and appeal to producers of different genres. third party developers have been doing it pretty well with Solaria and such.
