Evaluating tech stack for a big upcoming project and there's a clear dividing line on age between the young who want to use React, and the old who are all going 'fuck no' (We're going with HTMX + Giraffe over NextJS). #fsharp

React seems like the way to do it if you're into pain. I like using blazor anymore. Same code front to back.

I think some of it, is react is all people have learnt so that's what they think web development is

I think this is the exact reason we come up against resistance when pitching hypermedia approaches. It’s just so alien to many who were fed a diet of JS frameworks.
