Bessent was a constant predictor of a recession throughout the 4 year term of Biden. It never happened and his analysis was found wanting. It is therefore no surprise the economy in going down the plug hole on his watch.

Scott Bessent has the distinction of being the only non idiot in the administration. He knows how stupid Trump’s trade policy is, but he will never say it out loud. Just like all the Trump sycophants.
