This has to be one of the most bizarre energy stories I've ever read. How consumers are paying TWICE, once for subsidies and then again for over-capacity is...what???

‘Wasted’ is an interesting choice of word, when the input is free and perpetual. Inefficient certainly but a solvable problem.

Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. 🤷‍♂️
