Same mods I've put in mine with same mainboard, it seems to be very picky about power now, original carts are fine, video output when using a sd2snes+ is sometimes glitchy however. I'll have to study your install closely and compare!

Yeah, recapped, new regulator, using one of the 6A Meanwell PSUs directly seems to be _mostly_ ok, but even then it is finicky sometimes. It's pretty weird.
