This is one of the reasons why I want to get atproto into operating systems as service accounts. That’s a long road, but having an open option we can control is important.

I agree, but sadly here it's a far more deep path dependency than that They require SafetyNet attestation, so remote attestation via Google. Their server reaches out to validate that the phone runs American software, else the wallet doesn't work. No known ways to bypass it bc TPMs etc.
