If a package manager was going to publish more than just the packages themselves on #atproto, but also notifications and metadata, what would you like to see? New versions, security alerts, deprecations? What else? What if a package published Bluesky or Leaflet posts with change summaries?

Ontario civic election night is so wild because you find out whatever happened to federal cabinet ministers and tv weather presenters: they’re mayors of towns you’ve never heard of that have populations twice the size of Saskatoon. Ontario is absolutely inscrutable to Western Canada.

Fun project I've been working on the side for a couple of months now. I quite like cycling, but I hate that I need to sign up for Strava/Komoot just to be able to share routes. In the spirit of rewilding the internet with ATProto, I figured why not build an open alternative? www.attrails.app

attrails.appATTrailsDiscover and share cycling, running, and hiking routes on the open social web.
ATTrails@attrails.app

Hello, world! ATTrails is a route sharing app built on ATProto. Discover running, cycling and hiking routes shared by the community, and contribute by sharing your own. Built on the open social web, and your data always remains yours. Where will the trail take you?

Oh yeah! Today is the beginning of meeting roulette! BC (where I am) has not changed it's time. Europe / UK has now fallen back as of yesterday. So +8 / +7 from BC. And this coming weekend is North American time change. Where BC will be an hour ahead of PT. My brain hurts already.

If the B.C. election result stings for you tonight, remember that this province once forced a majority government to back down on a tax it had just brought in. A new government still answers to the same people who hired it.

This is the most delicious apple pastry I have ever had in this country! Bought a package of six for $7 at VCC’s downtown bakeshop and I regret not buying more. Not overly sweet, a great puff pastry with finely sliced apples, called “Louvres”.
