I met Luke @luke.kanies.com at @localfirstconf.com & answered some atproto questions at the beer garden. He wrote Building on atproto with a lot of questions about permissioned data and how this meshes with local first.

I was wondering if you’d read that - guess I know I don’t need to send it your way. :) I’d love any thoughts you have on it.

Those folks are crazy. My house is private, but not encrypted. That’s too bad. I was talking to someone at local first and we stumbled over “permissioned” again and again, I proposed we just call it “private”, boom, way easier to talk all night. One of those words is way clearer than the other.
