Why should we have the Olympics, superbowl, etc this year? You know how much revenue that would deny companies? Hit them where it hurts, their wallet!

Absolutely! But it sure would be helpful for waking up the majority of the US population who prefer to tune out by watching sports and other forms of entertainment to have athletes and entertainers start to shut down events like playoff games, award ceremonies, etc.

Remember them at the ballpark, stadiums, box office tickets, concerts...on and on.

All they care about is money. Making more and amassing more. At some point the biggest power people have is to stop buying things you don’t need. They think they can all wait us out and will just resume buying stuff so it’s not really a quick fix. Sort of a Target situation but on a bigger scale.

Cook, Bezos, Musk, Zuckerberg, Thiel. Then there are the Clooney, Barrs,Rogans, Vons, that right wing propaganda echo chamber.

I’m happy to see Bruce Springsteen speak up. And Jack White. But all Americans should be marching in the streets

Silence from big names is itself a statement. We shouldn’t wait for celebrities to validate what we know: the climate crisis and attacks on communities demand action. Ordinary people must speak out and plant seeds of change for a healthier planet.
