I still think dev2dev open source funding is fundamentally flawed and a red herring for support seeing this also makes me think it’s probably a similar recession indicator to tattoo artist bookings

Yes. Tipping your peers is nice but bringing in net new funds is critical.

Your peers can be net new funds, though, unless I’m misunderstanding! There’s a lot of devs; the monetary pools aren’t a closed circle quite yet, lol.
