Honest question, how young were the minors? The article doesn't mention the ages of anyone by Tyler, it does note that the crimes occurred in 2024, when he was 19. More details would be nice to have. Like was it a 12 year old victim or a 17 year old victim? Was the victim the mother of his child?

Look I fully understand that, but if you are having relations with the woman who made you a father at 18, how old was he when she got pregnant? Are all relations now illegal when you turn 18 and she is 17? I'm just asking so every High School student understands.

About 30 states have a Romeo & Juliet law permitting a 2-5 year age gap. It ensures that relationships between teenagers and young adults close in age are not criminalized. For example, Georgia has a  5-year age gap, permitting persons 14 to consent to relationships with someone up to 19 years old.

I get that! its when in previous comments I mentioned more information is needed. Now I think GA is a little too extreme but Red States have tried for years to lower the age of marriage (therefore the age of consent).
