Honest question, how young were the minors? The article doesn't mention the ages of anyone by Tyler, it does note that the crimes occurred in 2024, when he was 19. More details would be nice to have. Like was it a 12 year old victim or a 17 year old victim? Was the victim the mother of his child?

Look I fully understand that, but if you are having relations with the woman who made you a father at 18, how old was he when she got pregnant? Are all relations now illegal when you turn 18 and she is 17? I'm just asking so every High School student understands.

About 30 states have a Romeo & Juliet law permitting a 2-5 year age gap. It ensures that relationships between teenagers and young adults close in age are not criminalized. For example, Georgia has a  5-year age gap, permitting persons 14 to consent to relationships with someone up to 19 years old.

I get that but is the mother is the victim, her being 17 and him being 19 after being in a relationship when both were minors is a totally different story/crime than a 19yo and say a 14yo. Like I said, I would like more details to the story.

I dunno if you can hang the brat’s behaviors on the parent, much as I’d like to. Sometimes kids are just rotten. But the unclear sexual exploitation of a minor is going to be a problem for a 19 yr old! Of course, Boebert’s prayers will surely fix the situation. 😵‍💫

This is awful. Lauren Boebert was a minor when she first became pregnant, correct? This makes me think about patterns of sexual abuse. Was her child exposed to, or did he experience, sexual abuse as a minor? As a child, he impregnated another minor. Now he is abusing children. Awful. Just awful.

I'm no fan of Boebert, her family, or people who exploit anyone, but ... According to the article, he was 19 yo at the time. Under the statute, the victim could have been as old as 17 at the time. He isn't charged with sexual assault. Illegal, but not necessarily heinous. Don't @ me.

The kid sounds like an asshole, not unexpectedly, but most states have some kind of "Romeo and Juliet" exceptions to cover this kind of case. 18 on 17 shouldn't be a crime. But they should make him eat that camera
