Yep, I lost count of how often I had to destroy my builder because it got stuck or how often my CI would fail because their API timed out. I’m really sad about this because this would be my dream platform, but alas, I can’t trust it with serious production apps.

I so badly want Fly to be good. It just….isn’t. Doing any amount of scaling past their free tier immediately highlights all of the cut corners and cracks in their infrastructure.

Yeah I host my apps on Gigalixir who are super convenient (great for a solo dev like me) but only affordable for low traffic / hobby apps. If I ever get a lot more traffic I’ll urgently need to move to AWS.
