i have a refurbished macbook air and i like it. i use apple music too. i hang onto my android mostly out of spite because everyone i know who has an iphone gets mad at me for what it does to text chains

i haven't had an iphone in over a decade, and i haven't really felt a need to switch from android. not about loyalty, samsung is an evil company same as apple, but given basically two choices, for the most part i've been content sticking with android

Oh my question is more about the tablet/ laptop than phone. I’m trying to decide the ease of using it for a family member.

ah i see. it's a bit of an adjustment, i had one in college, then when it bit the dust i had a dell for years, and so i've had to recover some muscle memory, but overall i think i like the apple interface better. i've actually never owned a tablet of any kind though, unless a kindle counts.

That’s my thing too. I think the Apple interface in particular is better for older adults. It’s easier to jump right into. Less set up. And I don’t have to worry about the virus situation.
