How software engineering is changing... turns out there's a lot to say about it! This was a submission for an essay contest by @pragmaticengineer.com , and felt pretty therapeutic to write!

brittany-ellich.offprint.appWorking with clayAI builds everything as this huge monster of too much, and now I feel like I’m iterating by trimming things back and perfecting it over time. It’s a bit like working from clay, and allowing the software underneath to expose itself in the form it’s meant to be in.

I was just having a conversation with my friend elena last night about how grounding it is to work with clay. I love taking that analogy and applying to to software sm! The joy of incremental pushing & pulling 🌄

I really enjoyed that read, as a QA Engineer mandated to use AI in my workflows this year. But enquiring minds want to know: have you tried tolhe Kollage needles yet? 😆

I HAVE! They're super cool! The crochet hook I bought is only *fine*. I think it would be nicer with a larger and cushioned handle still. But the needles are awesome!!!

Yeah as much as I love the needles, the hooks didn't do it for me in the same way. Just like Kollage needles made knitting possible for me, Addi Swing Hooks do that for crochet. addi.de/en/product-3...
