After long deliberation I have now had to step away from my voluntary work of reading to schoolchildren.😫

All those unmasked people convinced themselves LC could never happen to them. They must think they have better genes than us sick folk. I honestly don’t know how to not be offended by it. Then their nerve to imply covid aware people are isolating ourselves when their inaction is what forces us out

Thank you for writing this. I know of nonprofit leaders who got Long Covid and are closeted about it and proceed to force employees to work in situations that further endanger their health.

This is true for me. I’ve had to be much smarter in how I do organizing and social justice work. And my output is severely decreased.
