So I lived in Canada 1983-1984. My freshman year in High School, and Thanksigiving was a bit...hard for us. So we celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving like all other Canadians (school was closed after all), and when American Thanksgiving came along....ugh.

We tried. We really tried. But it's not like they had all the fixings on sale in November in Hamilton. We would ahve had to drive down to Buffalo to get all the stuff. It wound up being a Turkey Dinner with some stuff in November.
