I was born and raised in Stratford. Teenage me hated that. Adult me thinks it’s pretty f***ing great. To be included on this cool mural by Shane Drever meant more to me than my adolescent self would ever admit. Gosh, it feels good. Thank you Downtown Stratford and all who made this happen.

Congratulations Stewart! I agree with “adult you”, it’s gosh darn amazing to be part of a Shane Drever creation; sharing the stage with Loreena McKinnett, Richard Manuel, Crowbar, ThunderMug (yay 8-tracks), Ron Sexsmith et. al. Good for you and good for us*! (* ”us” meaning “us” not the U.S.)

I think at one point, especially for those of us of a certain generation, we all hated where we grew up (and likely our parents as well), and we couldn't wait to "escape". But with life came new perspectives. As Dorothy said, "There's no place like home ..."

Congratulation Mr.R.🤩 –– I haven't picked up much on bluesky from you lately, you've obviously been out gathering more cred in your neighbourhood.🧐😉 Adolescent selves are a unique category eh? BTW, I was born, but never raised anywhere, though I did wear white trousers all through grade 13.😜
