Yes, it’s a problem for me as well. I’m use skylight on an iPad. Also freezes often, ultimately I need to close and reload.

The Follow button on the search page under the users tab does not work and you have to go into their page to follow them

One more thing. After scrolling through about 30 vids, it locks up. I have to restart my phone to reset it. Seems to happen after I play a video link. I played Lady Gaga’s new song, lockup. FYI.

Why can’t I just access your site. Nearly every time you want me to prove who I am and now I can’t sign in at all unless I am willing to let you share my info through another app.

Why does skylight keep signing me out of my account?

Thank you for all of this! Would it be possible to pull the progress line on the bottom to adjust where we are in the video? It would also be great to be able to move the cursor in the comments to edit mistakes without deleting everything back to what you want to change. Thanks again!

They're doing OTA updates which don't go through the App/Play Store. The app pulls these changes when you open it.

We’re out of beta now, so I would recommend redownloading. Although, I’d be interested to see what your app looks like! What version are you on? Caveat: we’re only available in North America currently

It’s been non-beta for a while and so you need to go to the App Store to get it proper. Note it’s only available in the US right now though, so if you were testing from not-HS you won’t have access (bc $$ reasons)

@buildwithtori.com I know you and your team still working on both apps, but Skylight is working very bad right now, please check the likes, when I click on it just don’t do anything, if I try to refresh still showing me the same videos, I can’t share videos, it’s becoming a nightmare 🙁

And I’ve got several video feeds pinned in my profile, so you won’t have their algo but can still see the content :)

Is there place to save videos to collections?

Can you fix how skylight is categorized on Apple App Library? It’s categorized as entertainment rather than social media.

Skylight has a lot of work to do especially on android. Can't copy paste comments or fix errors. It sometimes slow and gets stuck. Hopefully they release an update soon because they will lose users.

I've had to follow a lot of channels on Bluesky to get more varied content. More of a Bluesky comment but I wish there was a way to have a separate interface of channels and then to pin only the ones I search for the most at the top. The forever scrolling actoss the top is getting to be too much.

How do you follow people back. When I click on the names of new followers in my notifications nothing happens. Like nothing. Dead screen. Thanks!

I’m so technologically inept. I reply thru Bluesky because the two apps are connected? I do not see a rely or reply in the notifications on Skylight.

Letterbox is bars at the top and bottom. Pillarbox is when the bars are on the left and right. Either case is when the video isn't kept in the native aspect ratio and data is added, the black bars, to fill the frame. My upset is there's no setting to turn it off and vertical videos fare poorly

😪😪😪😪😪 I am still not getting logged in, even so it recognizes my bluesky account. It tells me I am logged in, return to skylight, and again, the message for me to log in. This was now from a fresh install from the playstore.

Why do I only get the same videos over and over day after day??
