Okay, question for y'all who've had some kind of gender related surgery: Do you ever just have to reassure yourself that your surgery can't be, for the lack of a better term, taken away?? I just occasionally get this random gut fear that my body is going to go back to the way it used to be

"Oh, but what if they lied. What if they didn't actually give me a hysterectomy. What if I can still get pregnant." Does this count?

That's not exactly what I'm experiencing, but that definitely counts as weird post-surgery anxiety. I've seen a lot of trans guys get really freaked out at the thought that maybe their surgeon left some tissue in during top surgery

Reading the comments and trying to understand what counts for your initial post, but my experience with this is: at first, I was worried about the minute possibility that the surgeons removed my ovaries when they weren't supposed to. Luckily, cramping a few weeks later dispelled my worries. 🤣
