A week from today is Election Day, and wolves need your voice now more than ever. The people we elect help shape the laws and policies that determine wolves futures. Visit Vote.gov to check your voter registration and find information on how to vote in your state. 📣

We, internationally, need to do exactly what the Brazilians did and lead by example with: 1) Block all far right figures/accounts 2) Never share a far right account even to dunk on them 3) Never reply to a far right account even to dunk on them Completely cut their algorithmic advantage

Hmm I still have a hoodie from them. Sounds like I need to make some modifications to it!

A couple more doodles from yesterday: a messy little Eurasian Eagle Owl. I think owls are really cool, but they are so hard to draw.

I can't get over how cool this picture turned out! It was just taken with my phone in a waterproof case, while holding it half-submerged in the water over the side of my boat. The wind was barely a sigh so I had to entertain myself somehow

BLOCK AND MOVE ON Do NOT engage, don't try to make them change, don't debate them, don't fall on their ragebait, let them die in their bubble and perish!! the algorithm works to spread their word thru rage. DO NOT ENGAGE!!!

THIS IS ALL TO SAY: if you find yourself not seeing as many hand crafted artisans at the con(s) you frequent, that doesn’t mean they don’t exist, it might mean they didn’t get in! Good cons want your feedback, if you want more hand made, tell them! :)

IGNORE EARLY VOTING RESULTS IGNORE THE POLLS We do not have this in the bag! We must ALL VOTE! Hungary ousted Viktor Orban by voting overwhelmingly. We must do the same to oust our own fascist leader, starting with these midterms.

I think artists and sex workers should have a natural allyship. Both of us are often told we should not be allowed to charge for our work if it is at all pleasurable. Both of us are wanted for what we can do, but our work is considered not worth paying for. We should stick together

When trans creators are subtle, people dismiss the trans subtext as “headcanon.” When trans creators are loud and proud, people call it “obnoxious” and “cringe.” They just don’t want us to be represented in media at all. Because they don’t want us to exist at all.

Positive reinforcement is really important. I think it's especially true right now that we need to be boosting the media we want to see others enjoy rather than clowning on people for enjoying something that we find problematic or unethical.
