Pennsylvania Republicans are warming up to mail ballots. Theirs are up 21% on 2022's pace and Democrats' are down 9%, so the edge in the mail file is D+41.9, down from D+51.8 (2024: D+27.1). I expect mail to heavily depolarize. Given all Trumps attacks on it Rs who are still voting by mail aren’t gonna change now while will shift to in-person over fears of chicanery.

that'd fit PA's file so far. the catch is PA has no in-person early voting, so the half where Ds go in person won't show up in any file until Election Day. what jumped out at me: 63% of the mail ballots so far are from voters 65+, vs 48% of all 2022 early ballots
