I wanted to make a pride pin that highlighted trans expertise. So many of the trans people I know have advanced degrees in their subjects and yet I rarely see trans people shown as experts in the media. Even on trans-centric topics, cis experts often make up the entire panel!

If you're anyone who doesn't look like the stereotypical image of a Doctor, you've probably noticed that people revert back to other titles and are more likely to ignore your expertise. For trans people, this often comes with a bunch of misgendering too

Tap that sign and tap it with pride!! Getting a doctorate is a substantial achievement by itself; getting one while dealing with the bullshit that trans people have to put up with is quite something.
