We're publishing new guidance to support trans people who do fieldwork (any work outside the office)! Now we need your help to get them seen so please share! inclusivefieldwork.leeds.ac.uk/trans/

Things are really tough as a trans person right now and guidelines and policies often fall short of meaningful support. I am so proud to have created these resources and I hope that they will help a lot of people. Guidelines actually written by trans people are so important!

It really means a lot to share these through our University website too. These kind of public-facing resources are far too rare, despite that institutional visibility being hugely important!

Having something that looks authoritative can also make a big difference as a resource when advocating for trans inclusivity, so here's a version that goes one step further than our university website and can actually be printed and cited academically: doi.org/10.17613/355...
