Smog in LA. Vehicle quality: the 10 year old POS car I have in 1989 really sucked. The 10 year old car I am driving today is awesome. Heat Pumps.

And Seattle.... and seeing the Seattle smog flow across/over Snoqualmie Pass into eastern Washington.
