I personally kept acquiring non-working Lisa's. It as lucky number 5 that i got working before I could fix all of the others. They are a PITA to work on. I'll be honest, I haven't watched Adrian's attempts because it conjures up flashbacks just seeing the thumbnails.

Nope, it still doesn’t though I do have to feed it souls every now and then. My MacXL on the other hand is like me and has difficulty starting.

This seems kinda fitting. This was Steve Job's baby. He forced everyone else in his team to make this mega-expensive monolith, and their suffering and frustration is still locked into every circuit, component and wire in this electro-abomination. That's what I think anyway!

With corroded tracks it's extremely difficult to diagnose. Only a mad person or a brave genius would enroll in such an exciting enterprise! 😅

My Lisae have been pretty bloody reliable actually. Deal with any corrosion (or better you or someone got there ahead of it!), rip out any RIFAs, and all is well. It does help if you don't have to deal with Twiggys or Widgets; drives I emulate!
