Slowly over time I've been trying to bring SQEKR Tech equipment rentals up to the point I feel comfortable not actively babysitting them at large events. We test and maintain the equipment, but some of it is over 20 years old. They were designed to have a technician on standby. That's me now.

The more modern stuff is much better suited to set and run. I'm very happy that I was able to walk away from the BLFC reg line after making sure they were good to go. Later on I was told they cleared the entire line quickly and got over 80 percent of pre-reg taken care of. No hardware problems.

This is important progress for a few reasons. * I can't attend every event we supply * I can't braindump everything I know for others * I can't rely on users to document behavior reliably every time * I can't let our events down, it will end me I need the equipment to work correctly the first time

Recently we were able to take the revenue from events and plow it directly back into a major purchase of newer equipment. It is so reliable and more consistent I was confident enough (after plenty of testing) to drive it 4 hours away to BLFC as our first large deployment. It's paying off!

This is ultimately what it's about. We've development a reg-in-a-box solution that is cheaper than DIY and eliminates the hassle of storage, testing, repairs, all the stuff our partner events don't need to worry about. The bins show up, they're unpacked, and reg is running in under an hour.

I'm so excited to focus on the next steps, integrating the more complex and harder to find systems that will really make complex integrations and processes with events possible.

Prior post aside, this is an awesome achievement. It always makes me happy to see the little SQEKR Tech stickers on reg stuff. You have a lot to be proud of. <3
