Wasn’t the clock NBC was showing us on replays literally a video of the scoreboard? If so, I thought the scoreboard was the official clock used by officials?

FWIW I think they got it right, the snap conveniently occurs at almost exactly the 1 second mark of this video, and by the time the video hits 10 seconds (9 seconds after the snap), it's been around a half-second since WMU touched the ball www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yk6...

I mean I guess. That's still pretty odd that they are claiming to have a system of syncing cameras that aren't theirs and a clock they don't control better than the media company who provides the cameras and video footage for reviews that they rely on to make these decisions. I don't buy it
