My heart is with the students, families, and entire Bend, Oregon community after yesterday’s shooting at Silver Rail Elementary, where three children and a teacher were killed.

No child should fear going to school. No teacher should fear for their life. No parent should have to wonder if their child will come home. Our children deserve more than thoughts and prayers. They deserve action. We cannot continue to accept gun violence as a fact of life.
