I truly miss the days without unlimited options. Example - Music: ☞ Save up money ☞ Go to a dedicated music store ☞ Flip through a billion albums to find ones that seem interesting ☞ Take those CDs to a station with headphones and speed-listen one-by-one to the albums to see which I want.

☞ Buy it ☞ OWN IT!! (almost impossible these days) ☞ Get hyped up on the way home that I get to listen to new music ☞ (insert optional Sony Discman with fuzzy headphones here) ☞ Enjoy the music even more because I worked hard for that album and chose it over others.

We live in a world of complete abundance now, with unlimited options for everything. Anything we want is at our fingertips in an instant. We own nothing. We are still unhappy as a whole.

In general, we don't have to think much about our choices anymore because we know there are tens, thousands, millions of other options at the drop of a hat.

Our technology is incredible these days and absolutely amazing, but man do I miss the simpler days. I frequently think about this and I might be alone, but today I just felt like writing it down and putting it out there into the abyss. Toodles.
