🐭"why are you playing super mario bros 3? that game's so old, it looks like garbage" guys who will never fly into the sky as a tanuki

Baffles me that people are like this, when here I am still playing games that are decades old

on the one hand. yeah. it doesn't expire like food. on the other hand it's normal to move on after a while and then later remember it fondly. hopefully that takes at least like 6mo though

there are two kinds of gamers: "back in my day games were complete when you bought them at the store, none of this post-launch DLC crap" "this 7-year-old game isn't getting updates anymore. can't believe the devs would just abandon it like that" and i'm not sure which one is more annoying

Especially with albums, sometimes albums take multiple listens to fall in love with

a chat member in a streamer's chat once made fun of me for talking about inscryption a week after that streamer finished the game

"They didn't give this game enough staying power," says the people who have spent every waking hour since the game came out wringing every last neurotransmitter out of it

this is why i listen to a classic 2s by sports. multiple times a day, watch godzilla movies over and over, and never seem to stop playing crystal clear

Remember Pokémon???

“this album came and went” and they’re talking about one of the biggest albums of its year
