This is a great video. I'm guessing it's advisable to put an app into maintenance mode before replaying a prod database? Is it truncate -> replay? Or just update in place?

Typically you would dump the events table in prod, replay elsewhere, and then go into maintenance mode and import, finally replaying just the events that happened since your dump. That lets you minimize downtime.

This is a nice video and gets me to my current understanding, where I get confused is with states, do you have a video planned that covers those in this context. Either way I found a “here is how you might currently do things vs how to do them in verbs” is very useful in groking this
